Clickbait: Ever Heard Music Live?

Proper title: I saw ||ALA|MEDA|| live and it was awesome.

It’s good. I recommend it. Almost forgot how good it can be with the bustle of ordinary life but today these guys reminded me.

I was alive in June 2022

and I’m continuing this, I haven’t forgotten!

July was busy. Life-busy, in an absolutely positive way. I decide to limit my moaning and actually live, and enjoy doing so. This month, I went kayaking. I flipped the kayak. I had a big nasty scar on my leg. Moaning to a minimum. That’s the start of a character arc, at the very least.

I also heard the water slowly plodding along. Watched horses run on a dirt road. Saw some kind of bird-predator. Saw three of them. Got splashed. Got sunburned. Had my leg swallowed up to its knee on a muddy bank.

Clinomania re-visited

Hi All,

I hope that you are enjoying the season’s shift, and the new energy building up. It’s perfect fodder for my machine after the trying winter months.

I wanted to do a little reminiscence posting about Clinomania as the album was just re-released on the UK label Wormhole World on CD. It features new cover designs from the Terranean Recordings honcho Luke Lund who I hope you are all familiar. He did a great job.

I am very happy to see this album again in the wild. Digital-only releases tend to be treated as second-rate, often. There was a short run of “vintage” cassettes made on debut but it wasn’t the ideal presentation of the album. Happens. This second go-around, the medium choice is the futuristic CD, supreme high-quality of audio, no streaming, offline, displayable on a shelf, and yours forever, even if I throw a fit and delete all my music online (I promise I’ll try not to, though).

The CD looks great and I cannot thank Paul from Wormhole enough for putting this together and allowing new ears to engage with the album.

You can get your copies from Wormhole directly:

I also encourage you to check out their other releases. They host a diverse set of artists so try to keep an open mind and give something a chance.

If you haven’t heard it yet, or maybe thought it wasn’t for you when you tried it, I hope I can encourage you to try it (/again). Thank you for your support as always.

Business done. Now onto the memories.
